Re the photo of the Chinese Chongquing Dog, a photo from the side just doesn't do this dog justice:

I just love that breed. The symbolism behind their tail and other features is just awesome!!

I've not done much research on them. Were the breeders attempting to create a dragon dog? That face reminds me of the dragons you see in Chinese parades? What's the symbolism behind the tail?

As someone who has grown up with mom taking her to the Detroit Kennel Club everyyear and thought I knew dogs...you guys are playing hardball> Love this last breed though - I'm a shar pei person so not far from the mark with me.
