I MISS YOU, MY LOVE!!! Smoochy Smoochy and all that. Kick butt.

Loth, That is cool! Where did you end up? I am familiar with the state, so I am guessing Oswego? That is a lovely trek this time of year. You should try the Southern Tier sometime, that is beautiful too, as is where you live!

I too have been busy with our fair all of last week. The kids did well. Chickens didn't do as well as I had hoped, ducks did about what I expected for the most part, with one surprise. I leased a trio of Khaki Campbells to a girl in our 4-H club and she got Reserve Champion breed duck pen. She would have gotten Grand had she known what kind of ducks they were.

As you can imagine, even though she could have gone to State with them, I did not feel the sufficient effort deserving of the trip was put into it, so they are staying home and I am trying to sell of my extras.

I am going to be going on my own adventure this week too, my daughter and I are going to D.C/Virginia to visit my oldest brother and his partner, then heading to Western NY to visit with family for a day or two, then heading to the Cincinnati area to pick up some Buckeye chicks, then heading home again. Sounds like a crazy week, but we need a little girl time.

I will keep a log of dogs. My brother has 3 Chihuahuas, so that will be the first on the list, I am sure.

Have a fun week if you don't hear from me or if I can't get on to say hi.

We went to Oswego, yes, but our last beach was Wescott on Lake Ontario. The initial plan was make it to the Lawrence River and put our bike tires in but things didn't work out for that. The whole ride was gorgeous.

The Southern Tier might be a neat idea... The man who plans these trips picks the destination though, and I'm not sure if they've ever been there before. But there's a local fundraiser thing organized by one of the girls who was on this trip that a bunch of us are planning to do together -- like a reunion. Just a few local routes, from 10 to 30 miles. Heck, if we could do 50 miles in one day on the trip we can do 30 for this thing!

Have a great time with your daughter and enjoy your travels! We'll miss you too! :)
