I am back from my trip.
2650 miles, 8 nights, 6 motels, one beach house bed that had a scratchy mattress pad with really bad down feathers. Too many restaraunts, too many bottles of water to count!
Good things though, got to see an old friend I have not seen in 22-years! Finally got to visit Monticello (the estate of Thomas Jefferson!), check on off my bucket list, but add a new one of going back! Picked up 10 Buckeye juvies to add to my flock. Saw a gorgeous dog at Monticello!!!! Kevin, I will post pictures once I get a chance to download, you are going to love her!!!
Got to spend a great deal of time with my darling daughter, including snuggle time at the motels. I hope it met her expectations because I am NEVER doing that again! LOL

Not dog related but my rescue ferret ended up with late stage cancer and had to be put down

. I've had terrible luck with illnesses this year.

Today one of my class mates had to leave school early because her german shepherd bit a 12 year old. I guess the boy needed a bunch of stitches and they HAVE TO put their dog down. Sad.....

I like to do the audiobooks and listen while I drive or while I work. I am so old I fall asleep whenever I sit down to read a book these days, or maybe I am just overworked.

It is good to be back! I am still trying to adjust to it though, there is so much to do around here.
Willow is a sweet, fun and very smart little girl. She is doing wonderful. Only one peeing accident in the house so far is over 24-hours! She only whined a couple of times last night, and Abby took her out both times (with me as an escort ).

I have been sooooo busy. This is the first time I have even checked BYC since the last time I commented. School is a lot tougher than I had imagined. We either have a quiz or an exam every day of the week. So now, I study 2+ hours per night. My brain is fried. I have had 4 exams and 6 quizzes in the last 2 weeks. I am doing awesome. I have either received 100% or missed by one on all of the them. Sorry, I have to gloat. I don't even remember getting a perfect score in High school. I never applied myself. I feel so SMRT

Very nice. Poodles can be very intelligent. I only say "can be" because I have met some very stupid ones in the past. LOL. She sounds like a keeper!
