, they sound like amazing little horses :D

Okay, here's a neat breed I found:

Hint: It's a very old breed known for unparalleled intelligence :)

And another one, since the above breed was already used and guessed VERY quickly :

Hint: It has a really weird name and is "technically" a horse even though it has a pony like build :)

If you love gaited horses I found a great book that illustrates how the gaited horse came to America through its selection process over the last 2000 years. The founder of the foundation bred missouri fox trotter association researched and wrote it. Her name is Dyan Westvangen of Foxvangen Farm. The book is titled "Of Royal Blood. The Missouri Fox Trotter". While it does focus on the fox trotter I found it to be extremely interesting reading for the information on how ALL of our american breeds are actually VERY closely related! That includes the American branch of Thoroughbreds, Quarter horses, Morgans, Saddlebreds, Tennesee Walkers, Standardbreds, Kentucky Mountain Horses and any others I can't think of atm. Dyan also through 15 years of pedigree research has put together a ENORMOUS data base of bloodlines and when I asked her to look up my pinto mft mares pedigree we found Justin Morgan himself several times as well as the Goldophin Arabian, the Byerly Turk and several other well known historical figure equines! I really enjoy reading this book, I've read it 4 times now! Lol! let me know if you do read it and what you think of it. I think you will enjoy it as much as I do!
