Guess the breed. Pilgrim or sebastopol

We picked up 2 goslings at a swap meet and the lady said she lost track of whos eggs were whos. So they could be pilgrim or sebastopol. She also had 3 roman tuffed ganders but said they came with her farm and they cant be theirs.

The yellow has blue eyes and the other has brown the yellow is a bit bigger but could also be a few days older? Right around 3 weeks old.

It will be near impossible to tell which breed they are by just looking at them, but one thing that is almost certain is that you have a male and a female.

How are you sure they are pilgrim and not sebastopol when both breeds goslings look practically the same?

Thats awesome. I was hoping the blue eye and the brown eye meant girl and boy. As with the research i did it looks like the blue is x recessive and more likely in boys. All of the ganders at the whole swap meet had blue eyes and that was interesting. I am so excited. I was loving getting our ducks, but i got 30 of them and so they tolerate but don't love me, these little goslings follow us and love sitting with us. I love it. I'm excited to see what they turn into I'm happy with whatever they decide to be

30 ducks has got to be messy business! It's good when they follow you around. Just hope they don't start chasing you around when they get older! Haha
