We're very satisfied with the quality of our Black Copper Marans from Greenfire Farms’ 2015 APA Certified Champion imports. In order for the APA to certify a flock, 98% of the flock must conform to breed standards. Since this bloodline is from imported stock, they are unrelated to most Marans in the US and would make valuable additions to any existing Marans flock. My hens consistently lay eggs ranging from a 5-8 on the Marans scale. These are stunning birds, and would make a great addition to any flock! We are pleased to be offering chicks and hatching eggs for sale for the 2017 season.
