Suffice to say that she was a constant trial to raise... but the results are well worth it.

If it makes you feel any better, my aussie boy (now an old man) used to jump straight up outside the french doors asking to come inside. He would jump so high that his head wasn't visible through the french door window at the peak of the jump. And he is my calm one.

I absolutely believe it. My 'Old Lady' - not very old, only nine - is what we believe (but aren't certain) to be an Aussie x English Setter. I know the hyper! At six months old, we'd take her out on a flat stretch of beach and run her for two or three miles at fifteen to thirty miles per hour. Off-leash, not on a tether, alongside a quad. When she got tired, she'd jump on board for a ride - then jump off again after about three minutes to run more.
