Your runner ducks are lovely

I have 6 runners and they are the best thing since sliced bread, not sure of the sex as of yet, 2 are quacking, but pleading with more to start lol. I have a varied range of colors, A grey, white, beige (thinking maybe a lavender?) grey trout, trout, and a black with white bib (turned out to be a crested runner) if I can work out how to upload a pic I will add one, as im all new to this. Any help in uploading pics would be much appreciated

They are very beautiful!! And what luck you have--I picked 3 ducklings out last year and all were males! I am convinced that the eggs I have in the bator will all be drakes too--lol.

Henry'schickens-FYI- mounting behavior definitely does NOT guarantee the sex of a duck. My females routinely mount each other, it's a dominance thing. My runner female will mount my female pekin and then stand on her for two or more minutes. The pekin just sits there:gig, it's pretty funny. The girls do not mount the drake though.

What a lovely little duckling revolutionmama , if I am not mistaken you have a white one there, I remember when mine were that little, dont take long to grow... mine are 5 weeks old now.

This pic was when mine were 1 day old,

Yes, I have several white ones, they turned out real nice and of course heart melting cute! They grow so fast - they are being moved out of the house and into the outside starter pen today for more leg room to run around.

Yours are super cute to!

Ahh how exciting, its lovely when they start to go outside
