This morning she seems more tired, she is drinking water like crazy which is generally indicitive of gearing up for milk production. She is stocking up in her rear legs a lot which with her is an indicator that she is close.

Cant wait to see lots of foal pictures. I miss mare watch, its been awhile since we raised a colt.

Today Lacey is 335 days from her last breeding date. Milk is still clear/amber colored she is eating very slowly now and is very loose in her hips and around her tail. We are supposed to get rain tomorrow but right now it is very warm and humid here.

I had a long discussion with Lacey today, told her I was over this and just go ahead and have this baby already. As a last ditch effort I gave her a bath, seriously this generally works within 24-48 hours. Her bag is full and tight, tail is loose, hips are loose, appetite has slowed the only thing that hasn't changed is milk. I can only get one or two drops and it is clear
