3 week old cuckoo maran ordered 3 females only one survived transit is my only survivor a she?

I'm sorry your other two didn't make it! That one has a nice comb coming in but I can't hazzard a guess. I bought two a couple of years back. One had a red comb and was much bigger but both were female.
Curious about what hatchery you used and how far were they shipped?

Not an expert but I think it’s a pullet

I'm going to guess it's female since you ordered females and there's no obvious signs of it not being female.

My guess is pullet, also. A male would have lighter color feathers.

I ordered from the Chick Hatchery in Michigan I live in S. Tx
This was my second time ordering from them after really liking my last order. It was just too cold I think. Got a refund for the lost chicks and will have to reorder soon but will wait a few more weeks for better weather. Might just give Ideal a try since is here in Tx

I'm in East Texas . Hey neighbor . Be sure and check out the Texas thread if you haven't already. I've heard mostly good things about Ideal. ( It is within driving distance for me.)
