That was my guess too.

I was thrown by the lack of black/purple skin. Maybe a SilkieX with a Crele OEG? I tried to research Crele genetics and got way in over my head!

There are a few more things to consider that I have not seen mentioned:
Red eyes
Crow-winged
he seems to be homozygous for pea, and heterozygous for rose
barring and blue are probably from two different breeds.
One half is surely silkie.
If he in fact came from a hatchery, I would say he is probably from an "EE" and a silkie. They tend to cross anything with an ameraucana and call it an easter egger.
I bet his offspring will lay colored eggs.

For a size comparison, here's a picture of him standing next to a dark cornish pullet. One of my cubalaya cockerals is behind them and further back is a gamebird mix bantam rooster.

I'm going to test his coloring this spring. If it's crele, then his offspring should be crele (I've read that you can cross crele with black or light brown and still get crele coloring). When his daughters mature, I'll be able to tell ya what color eggs they lay.

All this assuming I can keep him safe from predetors and such until then.

Is that an x-tra toe I see??? He is quite handsome, my guess would be a Silkie/OEG X. Someone else had guessed Crele, I think that best describes his color. I'm pretty sure Silkie because of the comb, every other poofy head breeds have "V" combs, which would have been trumped by the single comb of the OEG. So far I've found that Silkie comb seems to trump any other comb variety, and the Silkie crosses will come out with either the walnut comb or a messed up variation of one.
