I brought two of my outdoor cats who are pregnant into the house last week, mostly because it's still so cold, and they're both due within the next few weeks and because the coyote population has exploded around here, and after last year when coyotes killed two of the oldest cats and their kittens, I didn't want that to happened again.

these two cats are sisters and are probably due around the same time.

I thought it'd be fun to see how many kittens people thought they'd both end up having.

This will be the black cats 2nd time raising kittens, last year she had a litter of 6.

and it will be the white cats 1st time, she had a single kitten last year but it didn't live

I have over a dozen people who want these kittens, they will come from a rather impressive line of seasoned hunters

let the guesses commence!

*remember this is just for fun, no prizes involved*

How about getting your cats fixed?
How about that's none of your business?, if you don't like it, don't comment.

these are working farm cats, SELF sustaining working farm cats. which means kittens are very much needed.

much like great pyrenees dogs or however you spell it, do you know how many of those are sitting in shelters right now? in my local shelter alone, there are 6. you don't see people getting their working farm pyrenees fixed do you?

So as such I'd really appriciate it if you keep such outbursts to yourself

Amber, the white cat passed what looked like a bit of her mucus plug this morning, right after I posted this actually, so she'll probably go in the next day or two.

As I said above, all possible kittens are spoken for by atleast 12 individuals who want then for their impressive hunting lineage.

I may keep one or two, so i really don't see what getting in a tizzy is worth =)

Amber might actually go tonight, she's been looking fairly antsy the last 30 or so minutes, walking around the house poking her nose into every nook and cranny she can find, her sister Bella wanted to go back outside but I figure she's got atleast another week so I'm safe there.

I'll bet there will be 11 total.

Make sure to post pics when she has them! I've got pregnant cat too. I think she is 7-8 weeks along.

We got babies, walked into the room after being gone for the afternoon to find that Amber the white cat had delivered 5 kittens!

3 brown mackeral tabbies, 1 solid black and a calico!
