I'm pretty sure the grey Silkie is a cockerel...has crowed a few times already at 6+ weeks. We are going to try to keep him but this is suburbia and we are secret chicken keepers. Love those silkies!

Thanks and hope you are right! So far just the grey Silkie crows! Winnifred may be a Winston! I have to be a neat freak because we are secret chicken keepers. Luckily their yard and coop is on the side of the house without neighbors and there is a 6' concrete wall all around.I think the two in front are hens. If they have crowed, you can immediately put those down for roosters. BTW, I love how clean their coop is!!![]()
The big girl front left is supposed to be a Speckled Sussex... lol! If she’s not then what do you think she is? The white little one in back and the little grey are splash Silkies. Those two look like pullets, at this point, but that white one....? Not a speckled Sussex.
Ok then we have an oddball! Whatever she is she’s the coolest bird ever.. smart, a leader, adventurous, talks to us and always up for a cuddle. And I think she’s gorgeous too!I'm not sure, maybe a barnyard mix.... SS are brown with white flecks, yellow legs and a single comb.
Thank you for helping ID! Glad they both look like pullets!Front right: Buff Brahma pullet.
Front Left: Easter Egger pullet.
