Wow so glad there's an edit button, that could have been embarissing as I just realized that picture was of an OEG and not a Jap.

After goin to read my standards book though im going to have to agree that it is more than likely a black OEG!

I agree he does look a lot like the OEG (he looked a lot like an australorp once too LOL) But if he is a banty y'all dont think i should get him some banty hens? I had a D'uccle rooster once and he couldnt fertilize the hens eggs....

I think we may have reached a consensus that the OP has a black, Old English banty.

As far as "fertilizing" the big girls, I've had some brave little banties mount them, they've even held their own with the big roos who come to defend the ladies, but no matter how they stretched it, they couldn't reach. So, OP, if you want fertile eggs, I'd probably get a roo big enough to do the job.
