That is so interesting that where you live, joining BYC, 4H, etc. is one of their requirements. Pretty neat actually!

They either require you to join 4H, backyard chickens, or there are a few other groups or organizations they accept. I think backyard chickens is talked about a lot in our area so they list it as a good resource to use.

Wow that's interesting. Not that joining a group to leanr more about chickens before you get them is a bad idea (I sure did it), but I can't imagine that kind of rule flying where I live.
