I got a 3D printer for my bday, Ive been playing around with it, but today I started printing a quail egg turner for the nr-360! It prints in 3 pieces, and I had to rotate up at an angle to fit, so I’m wasting a bunch of plastic, but I’m super excited.

They're cool. I used to work for Autodesk, and they had a huge one at the 1 Market St. office in San Francisco. The stuff they created was awesome.

I locked down the nr-360 today, so in a few more days I’ll get to try it out!

Here’s what I’ve printed so far, I used a bunch of the cheap spool it came with, and I switched to the PLA once I was a bit better at removing the supports and such.

I downloaded the 3D model of chopper for free, I added the plate and hook to make it a Christmas ornament, but I broke his hand a bit, I think it needed a more solid fill than I selected.

Many years ago on a survival Minecraft server, I built this, I call it the creeper of liberty. I plan to paint it.

I made this this morning, I’ve been working on dnd figures, and this is the first that doesn’t look like a pile of gray poo: dwarf paladin.

I’ve done such a good job of making back half the cost of my big brinsea so far by selling chicks, that my husband decided I should try to monetize another expensive gadget haha (just an excuse for a new toy).
