wow that was a piggie of a cornsnake then! That's one thing i've never seen is a snake eat while shedding poor dumb feller! Weirdest thing i ever saw was a dead garder snake in my yard...died because it couldnt breath while trying to eat a large toad backwards...the toad survived by swelling its body up snake couldnt breath out of its mouth tube. The toad was still stuck to the snake when i found the two, i let the toadie go....toads used to be prolific around here...but last two years...haven't seen them muchat all ...we're fond of our todies lol! I love the snakies too. I've never seen a grass snake here....if i did it'd be my pet lol! I haven't seen a ringneck snake in years either....those are really cute.

i saw a BIG,,, well LONG yellow racer here this summer, he was over 5 foot easy,, but he was in all my oil pipe, so i just let him stay there, i would have liked to hold him for a while,, we still find his skin that he's shed,, ,, no wonder i dont have a rodent problem

hahaha,,, i dont know,, gonna skin it and probably try to see how hard to make it a belt,,, i think you can wrap it and glue it to a belt,, and make it look like a snake skin belt,,, either that or a few wallets lol

I'd say the wallet idea is good, you stuff em with all the cash you get from all your cool chicken deals.

i would fry it. i hung mine on the fence the other day to make it rain and the chickens all gathered around under it like a pinata a few days later.

Good catch 1much. I caught them all the time in our cabin in Sargent Texas when I was a kid.

On another note I was watching something on the history channel the other day and they made mention of the fact that there are no snakes in Ireland. I dont know why but that just really stood out to me.

It seems like it would be a nice country to visit. Beautiful Red Headed Women and no snakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I grew up on Lake Houston and we had BIG OL Water Moccasins all OVER. I used to shoot them with my brothers pellet gun when they got stuck on our fishing/trout lines. Here in New England....there are not poisonous snakes either...I think the closest are in Connecticut the Eastern Rattler or Cottonmouth??? These New Englanders do not understand fearing snakes...got lectured at the local science museum about fearing snakes...I had to lecture BACK about living in Texas and respecting animals who are POISONIOUS!! LOL

Miss them fishing days on Lake Houston...best Bass and croppy fishing ever from our back yard!
