Guess what I'm feeding my chooks for treats?

No to veggies?

Mine like big ol' overgrown zucchinis, tomatoes, fresh corn, Romaine lettuce, pumpkin, etc. I DO NOT buy these "treats" at the organic, gourmet market - no! These are garden & household scaps.

I used to mix crumbles with water until its like smooth oatmeal.
I think meat builder worked best because it would dissolve good.
In the winter i used hot water.
It was there favorite "treat" and part of their daily food.

I have my garden going already actually two of them and have collards and mustard greens in it and they need thinning and up a bit so when I thin the chickens get them..they just love them so I planted more collards in other garden too..

Hubby dips his finger in their water bowl and then in their food crumbles and taps the side of the brooder, they usually go nuts eating it off his finger.
