So funny story my silkies are from TSC and all have single combs that have a lot of curves and flop to the sides. Poppi has so much white I can’t really believe him being from a jersey giant or BO. But you guys probably know more than I do! Here’s a picture of my Cochin rooster who is also Poppi’s father.

Well I was going to say with that comb either the orpington or the jersey giant, but if your silkies have single combs that doesn't rule them out.

The real question is where did that mottling come from? I thought mottling was recessive, which means both parents have to carry it. Obviously your rooster is mottled, but unless you have a mottled hen it means one of your hens is split for mottling. Unless Poppi's not mottled, but paint
