Cattle panel lean-to

And, you could do half in clear corrugated and half with metal corrugated to be able to provide shade for your chickens or all in metal corrugated. I was going to use the clear panels because i was using this to build a greenhouse with. But you could very easily use metal on the cover

I have also found clear corrugated panels that you could screw onto the plastic boughs instead of using that visquine plastic. That way, you wouldn't be replacing the cover over the boughs every 2 years, or however long that plastic lasts
I buy white poly tarps (heavy duty) on my green house and chicken coop both.Had them both over 5 years and they're still going strong

Plastic is noisy from rain too
I built all my coops and runs out of used lumber and pallets 5 + years ago .My next one will be galvanized steel cattle panels,hw cloth and probably more tarps. I probably won't be keeping chickens much longer(I'll be 70 yrs old soon)

I'm 70 years young and i'm DEFINITELY going to raise me some chickens. I want to have my own chickens laying eggs here at home instead of going to a store and paying those high prices for eggs.

I'm good to go if I don't have to build anymore coops after this one

I understand that. I'm thinking of buying a large prefab Amish built coop cause i really don't want to build my own if i don't have to. I'm getting too old like you to do all that work. If i can get the money up to buy it, that is.

I've got 1 hen that had chicks 4 months ago (so of course I spoiled her rotten) Now all she wants to do is hang out at my back door hoping I'll let her come inside (I have a few times)
