I think that he's a Katahdin. We had Katahdin crosses last year, they have amazing abilities to fatten on grass. And they're tasty. (we don't have them any more.)

He is a katahdin, and he's so ugly he is cute. He has the face only a mother could love. Or...since his birth mother rejected him...a face only a foster-mom could love!

Good luck with your new lamb--I think he is precious. I must live in the wrong place, because I have been looking to purchase a very young lamb or have a bottle baby that needs a home.
There aren't too many around here.

Oh I use to raise orphaned lambs when we lived on the farm. That's when pampers first came out for kids and I would rig up diapers and keep a lamb in the kitchen.. Our kids had such great times playing with them.

I told DH about your baby goats the other day when we were on our way to Clarksburg. He stepped on the gas and zoomed past where you live! LOL
