Not laughing at all. I can see where some might be deluded by this, but this older neighbor was not. Falling for scams is not age related.

I only say older because that's who fell for scams before, that I know. My mom was giving some scammer her bank acct number when I grabbed the phone out of her hand and hung it up. She was so mad at me but my dad was grateful. And my neighbors fell for one of the oldest scams. The "I refunded too much of your money and I don't want to lose my job so I need your acct info to resolve it" scam. They lost thousands of dollars
