Here, Metro can give a coupon for a reduced price neutering.

To me it is price gouging to charge $500 for neutering a male.

I thought so too but they're charging for updated exam, vaccines, etc but it was still ridiculous to be almost as much as a spay

Brewster’s neuter was $382 but that included $40 for the microchip and $59 for the heart worm test so it would have been like $100 less if I hadn’t done those but I opted to. Of course, I didn’t know it would be THAT much extra at the time. I figured the chip would be like $15 or $25 at most but still. But even at almost $400 that’s still fairly cheap for around here. Especially since the meds and cone were included in that price.
