My kid has this whole week off. He'll get to come here in a few hours and work with me.

My niece had this week off too. Supposed to go in yesterday and today but they had too many staff members sick and not enough subs. But your kid will get ten weeks off in the winter, because of the weather, like last year!!

I'd be cool with that. At least none that cause the backroads to be dangerous here.
I really just want to stay away from those bitter cold temps. 19° this morning. That's plenty cold enough.

We've had very mild winters lately. Messes up some of the plants that need to be dormant
