Glad it wasn't me that won. Personally, after the outcome and what it cost MP with the vet visit, I would feel bad about "taking the prize" and would refuse her prize offer. But that's just me.

Yes Robin I totally agree and was thinking about when I heard.
IMHO I could not take the prize given the situation, but that is just my opinion and the final decision is between MP and the winner.

I am really amazed at the difference in cost. Our vet has an old farm house that he has turned into his clinic and he is considered to have the best prices around. Plus unlike most of the other vets in the area, when Pat works on an animal he isn't worried about payment he will just send the bill later. That is very nice since some people don't always have the money on hand for emergency care.​

Unless whoever wins raises the baby chicks in honor of Cocoa and her kid. They would be very special chicks. One would have to be named Cocoa.
