Grape Soda ~ I've been feeling like this is a boy, but I have NO idea what breed he is? Could this one be a girl? That'd be a nice surprise. lol

Sebright are interesting looking birds! And that would be fab if they are mostly girls. Thanks

I don't know what the first ones breed is but it's not sebright since it has a single comb and yellow legs. Sebrights should have rose combs and grey legs. I want to say most are mixes since they lack certain things that would point to being a pure breed. But I do agree that the cuckoo marans looks like a cuckoo marans. Where did yo get them from?

It's sad, but hatchery Sebrights very VERY commonly have those features.

I got them from a local chicken raiser off cL. No idea where he got them from. This is our first time raising chickens.

golden lakenvelders look alot like a golden sebright as chicks, just different comb types
