This chicken hatched on June 6th...he has yet to crow...or lay. It acts like a hen by participating in hen pecking if the new batch of hens I added, sits in an egg box, and gets pecked by the more dominant hens. But...it looks like a rooster!

Your roo is only around 4 months old...trust me, he'll come into his "own" shortly!

Agree he's a cockerel, and at only 4 months he's still a baby. The hormones will flow in the next couple months and he'll gradually start asserting himself. Right now he's kinda like a 12 year old boy...he knows he's male, but not a man yet.
