Our first incubator hatch ever and I am a nervous wreck. We got all our eggs on ebay and timed them so they would have the same hatch dates.
I candled the guinea and for sure two eggs are uhmmm not alive (is bad a poor term choice?) and that's a bummer bc they were the purple guinea.
The barred rock went in a couple days ago - we haven't candled them yet at all.
Friends of ours said that they used to raise guinea and had to spritz them with water to help them in the incubator. They used an old kerosene (huge) incubator. Any thoughts on that?
What exactly IS lock down? I mean, what are the 'rules'?
