Guinea Brooder

Lol. Well...I got home this morning to find all 5 had gotten out. They're flying about 2-3 feet in the air now. I scooped them up and secured them back in their brooder. Going to have to come up with something more secure.

This is the coop I purchased for my guinea keets. http://snaplockchickencoops.com/big-coop.html
We haven't put it together yet but are thinking of putting it together inside our house and using it as their brooder for the next few weeks. Then when they're old enough to go outside, moving them into the coop outdoors. Does this sound reasonable? or would bit be better to have them in a more open pen inside where they can run around and see out? My keets seem to love to look around at what's going on and are becoming very tame. They fly up into my arms now to say hello.

Well, we ended up setting up our Large Formex Snap Lock Coop without the roof on to use it as a broader and it's perfect! It's very spacious and the keeps love the roosts. I figure this will help them be extra acquainted with the coop when we move them outside. Here are some pics.
