Guinea chick ran away

I bought two guinea chick yesterday, today one of them had ran out in the evening time. Will it come back and join to is pair?

Sorry for the circumstances. If the remaining chick is calling and the escapee is close enough to hear, it may return. Hopefully it was not caught by a predator during the night.

It may return only if it hasn't been eaten by a hawk or a cat. But look for it in small hiding places near where you last saw it. Chicks will hide in cracks and behind things as an instinct to make themselves invisible to a predator.
