Guinea chicks HELP can hear parents and vice versa not thriving

How is it going with your keets?
Only one is actively eating and drinking, acting normal. the others are head bobbing and more than likely we will lose them. I will continue to try though. I’m heartbroken. I will never get used to that aspect of farm life. Thank you for asking. If there ever is a next time i’m going to have to find a way to trap just the mom and maybe one other.

If only the one survives he’s not going to do well alone.... luckily we have day old chicks coming next week so we will raise them together if he makes it.

I’m so sorry that they aren’t doing well! It sounds like you didn’t have any really great options. I hate to lose animals too.
 
It may be too late for these keets, but a thought... Is it possible to set up a brooder in your coop / barn where the adult Guineas live? A wire dog crate, etc? That way the keets would be near the hens at least sometimes.
