As the guinea lays can I replace the eggs with Goff balls, will she know the difference? I think I found where she going to nest, I saw my cock guinea standing silent by his self then I saw my hen sitting under some border grass. They have been repeating the same sequence daily she hasn't laid yet but they visit this spot on a regular basis now.

You can try it but guineas don't like their nests messed with. It may work for awhile but the nest will eventually be abandoned especially if they see you messing with the nest.

I want to collect her eggs and incubate them I do not want her to move her nest it is in a good spot for me. Each time I remove an egg I will leave her a golf ball. If that does not fool her and she moves to another spot I will let the eggs accumulate and take them when she has 10 or twelve then she can move it and I will find it again.

dont you have chickens around? i think using golf balls can be a little bit to guineas to abondon their nests. if i were you i would use chickens eggs than golf, my hens roll the balls out of the nest, and suspected out that her nest was robbed. to do the exchange, the hen must be out of sight, never mind about the male. some people believe that removing the eggs from a nest encourage a hen to lay thru, but to me that seem impossible.birds dont count but know when their clutch is completed. well if it worked out, keep us up.

Yes but I eat my chicken eggs will try the Goff balls if they do not work I will let her lay then rob them when she has 10 eggs on her nest. Then find it again when she moves it and Rob it again.
