Good morning, and thank you all for your assistance or thoughts in advance, any insight is greatly appreciated
I have a one year old guinea hand and both of them were abused for the total of 4 to 5 months a neighbour who was “watching them “left them out in the cold over this past winter. When I returned home I found their feet to be what I would consider frostbitten. Please look at my prior post under my name you’ll see before photos when they were frostbitten this early May 2025.
Fast forward currently only the hen has a difficulties in walking she’s wobbling along, she has a clutch of eggs that she was sitting on about 15 of them but she won’t sit on them now that’s the least of my worries
Her foot while it appears swollen it is, she has a divot on the outside of one of her toes that appears to be very angry, unless as if the flesh has been eaten away
And there’s a spot that looks like bumble foot, but I had raptor in a towel at about 1 am in the morning and she sat there very calm while I took photos while she was all wrapped up.
I don’t know what to do for the poor girl, there’s no corn or hard spot that I can palpitate under that and the ironic thing is the other foot does not show any spots like that and has the same swelling
I’m heartbroken, I raised her from a key and she’s my only girl that I have, love her dearly and I would do anything for her. I just don’t know “what “to do
Just as a closing note, the one spec that’s in the concave wound, is a piece of sawdust from where I picked her up out of the pen. I did not want a monkey with it and agitate her.
Any help is greatly appreciated
