Yes, guinea behavior is fascinating! Do you know if after a hen loses her mate, will she accept a new mate? How is your guinea interacting with the rest of the flock? My single female is still acting different many weeks after losing the rest of her small flock. Though she now has some young guineas for company that she tolerates, she is obviously not bonding with them like she had her prior flock. I agree with your observation that it is harder to watch the reactions of the survivors. SO different than chickens!!
