Well I managed to find 11 guinea eggs over the past week so in the incy they went tonight. Fingers crossed that it goes smoothly & everyone hatches out good. I'll keep with some updates throughout the hatch. Not sure on color as I have 2 mature roosters a pied pearl & a royal purple. Hens are Royal purple, buff & slate pearled. This will be the 3rd hatch in the Incuview :)

Today was hatch day. Shipped eggs from eBay no less. I researched sellers thoroughly and only bought from sellers with 100% feedback. Bought 13 guineas and 3 silkies. 2 silkies with blood ring on day 7. All 13 "goonies" viable and growing. I am thrilled with results. Hoping for same results with my peafowl in other incubator.

Just an update... major storm blew thru and the power was out for 8-10 hours tuesday night. got the generator started up when I got home from work (6 hours in) eggs were cool (down to 70 degrees). I candled last night to see if anything made it thru and 9 of the 11 eggs have movement. one has (I'm pretty sure) a blood ring and the other is too dark to see anything. Candle again next week at day 18 (6-13-2018) fingers crossed!

Update.... Lockdown tonight! 8 for sure good eggs, maybe #9 but it's a tiny egg all developed & moving some have started internal pips already! Can't wait! Hatch day is 6/21-6/22. I'll keep up the updates, my first homegrown guineas!

Well the first one & 2 more hatched last night but this morning all 3 dead. I'm not sure what went wrong? Anyone with any ideas please let me know. Temp is steady at 99.7 humidity between 67% -72% they were all up & looked like healthy keets last night. Picture attached, I didn't see any abnormalities but hoping someone with experience has an idea. There are still 2 more pipped so I snuck the dead one's out in a hurry and closed her back up. Well pretty sure this hatch is over. Not sure what happened. Some said not enough air, some say heat spike, some said humidity too high. Still not sure what the actual problem was but these 2 made it. I did take them out right away & dry under the light in case it was oxygen. Going to post the problems on the Incuview thread as well maybe there's ideas there.
