Well, I was sick...and my husband went and picked some chicks up as a suprise for me.
He got 8 bantams and 2 guinea hens. He had no idea that the chicks were bantams nor that the other two were guinea hens when he bought them.

I am ... well.. trying to be appreciative of the thoughtful gesture. I was going to sell eggs, but am not sure how bantam eggs are going to go over. Anyway.. my question is.. does anyone have any guinea hens? what are they like? Do they lay eggs as well?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I have guineas that I bought for the ticks and bugs. They do wonders at eating them. However, they are very vocal/noisy!!!! I like them but they can get very annoying at times. They are seasonal layers.
