Not an emergency, but I just candled my guinea eggs that are scheduled to go into lockdown Friday. I have 4 internal pips. Should I go ahead and put them in the hatcher. Humidity in the incy is only at 40. I can't raise it becasue I have SLW in there too that are just a week along. I'm afraid of the guineas starting to hatch in there and drying out while I'm not home. With my chicks, I generally had first pip within 24-48 hours of seeing the internal pip. Any help? I set these on March 4 late in the afternoon so I have April 2 as hatch day. Are my calculations off?

I move my eggs over at day 23... and hatch day is generally day 26 for all my Guinea eggs. It won't hurt to move them all over now, it's day 24 for your eggs, day 28 would be on April 1st. Some pip internally and hatch that day, some pip internally and wait till day 26, depends on the strength, position and determination of the keet as to how soon it'll hatch.

Good luck with your hatch, post some pics!
