Hey everyone -
I have had guineas now for just over a year; 2 females and 4 males (im pretty certain). Recently, all the birds have been going crazy with the nice weather and are beating each other up quite a bit . I believe this to be normal. Yesterday however, i noticed that one of my females did not go into the coop at night. She puffed up on the ground and wouldnt eat or drink. I did pick her up and put her into the coop where she still remains today, still without eating or drinking (not that i can tell anyhow). She flaps her wings to move around, but not very much. Both females lay quite a few eggs, and up until this week the bird was free ranging with the rest of the flock. Im not sure what happened, but I am worried. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Im not sure what to do next- getting hands on her is not an easy task, and even if i did im not sure what im looking for. Help!
