We adopted 2 Guineas last week.
An American male & an Abyssinian Male.
Sadly our American boy died of myocarditis a couple days ago but our Abby boy is thriving!

My question is, where do you buy your hay from that ships to you?
Ive had them on a Timothy hay because i heard that's the best for them but i also heard that the petsmart & petco kind is not that great for them. I would much rather go through a farm supply so i can be sure its some good stuff.

Heres a pic of my Abby boy Mr. September

My brother has a guinea pig and it eats the same hay my rabbits do: hay (for horses) that I buy from a local farmer. It's a big bale, losely packed with little dust.

Sorry to hear about your guinea pig passing away. Consider getting Mr. September a new friend if you're ready (and preferably from a shelter that has guinea pigs if you have one of those around)

We used to feed meadow hay. It was packed by Burgess.I'm in ireland so don't know brands from other countries. but the burgess hay had flowers mixed in aswell. My Guinea pigs loved it and they gave birth to strong offspring. Burgess has different products based on differenr animals, size, age, species
