This is a poll I set up because I'm curious to know how other people keep their guineas.

Give details all you like, I'd love to hear them!
PS. do any of you keep them with your chickens/other poultry?

Ours are semi in a 100m square area. They sleep on top of the chicken house (which is inside a close-topped 10m square walk in cage) but we put them in the house if it is a cold night.
Sometimes they escape but we put them back in as they always try and get back through anyway!

I could let ours sleep in trees and once one did spend the night in a hedge, BUT it was a thunderstorm and it it was the field of a killer fox so i don't want that to happen again!
Our two sisters love each other and were so upset to be separated.

My guineas currently live with chickens, ducks, and geese. The waterfowl don't pay the guineas any mind and vice versa. Guineas and chickens are always a bit hit and miss. The female guineas seem to do fine, but the males in particular are constantly pestering the chickens. Before this next spring the guineas will be housed in an all-guinea flock.
