I have guines and silkies. A few months ago, I got a guinea hen back that had been hatched at a friend's house--predators had gotten the other two hatachmates. She still hasn't been completely accepted by my guinea flock, but has chosen to stay with the white silkies at night. She was hatched by a game hen. She usually free ranges with (or tries to) the guineas during the day, but almost always sleeps with the chickens, who have accepted her. All were adults when she joined them.
