I'm glad their all getting along with Henry. I see you gave the bad one a name and sure fits his personality. Damein.

I would keep an eye on those red spots it sounds like you still have a few aggressors there. With so many I'm sure it's hard to tell whose doing what.

I've never heard of the corona multipurpose ointment. Chardid where do you purchase this from? Thanks for the info on that.

Happy Tuesday to everyone too.

Just thought I'd better explain this picture.  There are actually 3 crates joined together - 24 square feet.  I don't have them all in one.

Well you know maybe sometimes you get a big meanie in the flock and after he starts his bad behavior its all monkey see monkey do from that point. I just dont know but I have also found mirrors to be a great distraction. Make sure its big enough for them to see themselves and they will be too preoccupied to fight. Worth a try.

I already have mirrors up, but thanks for sharing ideas.

I'm now having problems with my adult male and have just posted him as a give away. Too bad, but I don't have any way to keep him separate from the flock and I think I still have two bullies in hiding there! I'm going to have to start staying with them 24/7 or put up surveillance cameras to ID them.

Do you know if you can use some type of short term non-toxic spray paint on them? With 16 I have a hard time watching and monitoring and if I could mark a couple who I think are causing the problems, it would be easier to track their aggression. I know which ones are NOT the problems as they are already marked, unfortunately with red spots.

I'm sorry your having problems with the aggression. There is a product called bluekote that is suppose to keep the other birds from pecking them. I've never used it but I've read that it does work.

Was Henry hurting the keets? I hope you can find him a home.

Yes, Henry is hurting the keets. He was fine for the first half of the day and then by the afternoon, he was terrorizing them. Trying to check in with a few people to get him a good home. Thanks for asking and for the information on bluekote. This is a whole new experience for me and I appreciate any help I can get.

I think the bluekote has a bitter taste to it and the birds pecking them won't like the taste. Wear gloves if you apply this it dyes your hands blue. I hope this helps.

I got mine from Orshelns but Amazon sells it too.

You really cant introduce 16 birds to an old flock of 1 without gradual introduction. Its asking for trouble. Be a shame to rehome birds because they haven't properly been allowed to acclimate.

Birds dont just need to acclimate to weather but to other bird groups and animals. Seperate but audible for a week at least. Seperated but visible to each other for at least 2 weeks and then gradual introduction until everyone is comfortable but just throwing them in a bunch and hoping it goes well is causing your birds unnecessary pain suffering and stress.

They were separated, but visible for a week, but not three weeks and given the size of the keets and the size of the crates, they couldn't have remained that way any longer. At this point, they are separate and visible. That will continue until the keets are a bit bigger and I can try reintroducing the adult again. He is also able to free range so I'm hoping that everyone will be able to adjust given a bit more time and hopefully, I won't have to find a new home for him. My concern is the adult has a history of aggression with chickens where he was living before - I got him two months ago. That may not change even with time, but we'll give it a try.

I'm not for sure but I think Mary Jane laid an egg. We found one in the yard and it doesn't look like a duck or chicken egg. It's almost round with a few dark spots on it. She has been going in a bush out front and calling for Spider. Spider won't go in the bush with her. I was hopeing that she waited until next spring to lay.
