Guinea with curled toes on both feet

Hi I got two Guinea fowls who have cricked toes. Is it because they need something to perch on?? How can I help there toes? There two month old I think

I think it might be to late to try and straighten them out now. I've never did it to a guinea but I have on baby chicks. You make like a little shoe sole out of a plastic lid and tape their toes to the sole down straight. You could also use vet wrap to hold the toes to the sole.

Birds are good about adjusting to their handicaps I wish them luck.

I never herd a shoe sole I kind of don't under stands how u make it can u send me pictchures? I put tape on toes see if will work I did reaseach. My guinea chicks are only 2 months old there not adults bird yet

You know the sole in the bottom of your shoe? You can pull it out. The lining in the bottom of the shoe. Anyway you cut out that shape out of a plastic lid. It's a straight edge that holds the curled toes down flat then tape the toes down flat. Did that explain it to you?

Oh no I didn't mean to sound mad at all. I was just trying to explain what it was. Good luck and let me know if it works for them.
