Guineas and eggs

How old are Guineas when they start laying their first eggs?

They can start at 14 weeks. but only lay March or April - September or October, depending on your climate. My guineas are 14 weeks, but no eggs yet!

Thanks lynn..I have 4 that are about 21/2 mths old and just got 2 baby lilacs. Today my silky rooster was trying to mate with one of them. Do you know when they start to let themselves get mated? Now those would be some weird looking birds ,1/2 silky and 1/2 guinea.

My guineas were almost 1 year old before she began to lay.
