Please help!! I am a first time guinea owner and I love them BUT.........They love to perch on the side of my above ground pool. I found one floating, as we have lowered it for the winter so it wasnt able to get out. I was sad over loosing my guinea but even sadder that it tore up my liner trying to get out. Anyone know of something they dont like I could put on the rails of my pool to keep them off?? If not I may have to give them to my son, which I want to keep them. Thanks

! Pleased you joined us but sorry to hear about your guinea situation. I have a few of the bandits running around and from my experience nothing scares them. When something new or unusual arrives on the scene they are much noisier than usual (if that's possible) but normally get very close to whatever it is to investigate...lawnmower, weedeater, cat...you name it. I agree with some of the earlier posts about some type of "ladder" for the next one that wants to take a dip. Best of luck to you!
