Guineas are hanging out in the coop

I purposefully raised the guineas out in my yard in a little pin so they wouldn't want to go in the coop. I want them to be their own little flock and not hang around the chickens and eating feed all day. But, since I have released them into the field now, they have made their way in the coop and they spend all day up in the rafters. They don't run around outside and eat bugs. I've been running them out a few times a day and especially at night so they don't take up all the roosting spots for my chickens. (they like to get in there early before the chickens and get all the highest roosting spots.) Will they eventually roam around and roost in trees when they get older? They are still pretty small.
