Guineas

this may sound dumb but, do you eat the eggs your guineas lay? I thought you only got them for protection and help with bugs!

We did, all the time. The eggs were delicious. They're a little smaller than hen's eggs so if using in recipes I would substitute 3 guinea eggs for 2 hens' eggs. They also make good omelets and other recipes where eggs stand alone or are the main dish.
