Guinneas, Ducks or??

Hi everyone, got to wondering what fowl are good for tick control that can free range? We do have wild turkeys around here- but was concerned with fowl that can handle predators too, basically living on their own? also, we have a pond that doesn't stay in the hot summer months, is it possible to have ducks without a consistent pond?

guinies love ticks snce we have had them weve not had a tick problem and we live next to woods. Yes ducks can live without a constant pond they do fine with just one of those plastic baby pools from wallyworld. Crystal
