Gun legislation- anyone heard about this?

but if I haven't done anything wrong, how can you assume I will?

A CC permit has your fingerprints. Thats usable information if a crime is committed. How is a list of my guns useful. If someone is shot with a 9mm are they going to go around an collect all the 9MM'ers around the county an test them all. No! Are people going to leave a gun registered to themselves at a crime. No! They already can trace a gun by its numbers from the manufacture to the first buyer. The only reason to have a list of owners an guns is for collection reasons.

I do think it should be a felony to fail to report a stolen gun. I have had 2 stolen. The first was when I was 10 an I didnt have the numbers. The second was last year an I reported it ASAP.
