Guns!

My collection goes like this large and several. MY EDC is a Hi-Point in .45 auto. Yes, I have heard all the argument but I have yet after years of shooting it at least twice a month had a problem and it is hard to beat the warranty of forever. My Shotgun of choice is a Ithaca model 37 pump action 12 gauge. My Rifle of choice is the #5 Enfield in the reliable .303 British. I have a Remington bolt action .22 for dispatching varmints and a browning Buck Mark .22 pistol I use for practice. My Dad always told me "there is always room for another gun and if there isn't you need to buy another gun safe" This statement preceded Mom smacking him upside the head with a blunt object more than once. But seeing our current state of affairs i think he was right.

I love this thread. Unfortunately guns aren't of any use if you can't buy any ammo for them. Have you guys found that ammo is hard to find these days -unless it is for a shotgun? I've heard that the gov't under the account of the Weather Service (which is under FEMA) has bought up a lot of the ammo, and regular people are going out in droves buying what's left.
